Simone Horowitz

Co-Project Manager & Data Specialist

Hi, my name is Simone and I am a senior Statistics/Data Science and Political Science double-major from Boston, MA. As the Data Specialist and Project Manager, I was in charge of cleaning and manipulating the data so that it could be easily used for analysis and visualizations, as well as overseeing the development of our project. I ran various analyses in R to determine significant relationships among our predictors.

Moyra Garcia

Co-Project Manager & Visualization Specialist

Hi, my name is Moyra and I am a third year Statistics and Data Science Major! As the data visualization specialist, I was in charge of making sure that our visualizations were clear, accurate, and meaningfully connected to our narrative.  Using Tableau, I was able to create a variation of charts that highlighted key patterns in AI readiness all while ensuring the charts were easy to interpret. Overall, my goal was to help transform complex data into visuals that supported our research questions and strengthened data analysis.

Cody Pham

Web Specialist

Hi, my name is Cody and I’m a junior Cognitive Science major with minors in Digital Humanities and Film! As the Web Specialist, I handled the construction of the website, building the layout, and integrating all of the written and visual content. I also worked to make the site’s structure and content clear and logical. Ultimately, I focused on making the website accessible for our viewers.

Data Quality Analyst

Hi, my name is Yuyang and I am a fourth-year Statistics and Data Science major! As the data quality analyst, I was responsible for cleaning, refining, and augmenting our dataset to ensure all information was accurate and ready for analysis. I focused on improving data reliability by checking for inconsistencies and correcting errors. My final goal was enhancing the missing or unclear entries. Overall, my goal was to make sure our team worked with high-quality, trustworthy data that strengthened our visualizations, analysis, and research narrative.

Hi, my name is Gil Feng and I am a third-year Sociology major! As the editor, I handled the full editing process for our written and visual content. I made sure everything was clear, polished, and easy to follow. I was also responsible for writing-related tasks, including organizing the literature, to ensure a more logical narrative on the website.

Content Developer

Hello, my name is Mingchuan Wang, and I am a third-year student majoring in Statistics and Data Science. As the content developer for our project, my role is to create, organize, and reference all our research materials. I am responsible for making the description and explanation clear and structuring the narrative frame. I also need to make sure that all the contents are connecting smoothly with our research findings. I also help analyze the data to make sure all our content is accurate and easy to understand.
